About Gayla

Gayla and Gene have appeared on the nationwide broadcasts of the CCMA(ICM) awards show live from Nashville, TN and have had the distinct opportunity to perform on the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, The General Jackson Showboat at Opryland and the TCT network with various hosts, also in Nashville, TN.

 

They have taken part during Music Fan Fair week where they enjoyed meeting thousands of music fans in Nashville and they produced and performed a Branson Style Family Variety Show for five years in Oklahoma. They later took that show on the road for a time.

 

They performed at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in Muskogee, Oklahoma and a family country show was produced and filmed in Texarkana, TX as a pilot TV show for RFD TV. They've appeared on Babbie's House and Atlanta Live in Atlanta GA, TBN, and other tv shows as well as being featured in many trade magazines, such as Power Source, The Christian Voice and The Christian Servant.

More About Gayla

Gayla has recorded a number of albums with husband Gene as the producer and steel guitarist. Gayla's beloved cousin, Nashville's late Randy Hardison, co-produced and was the drummer on her first six of 10 albums. Gayla's recordings have produced many number 1 songs on the Country Gospel charts, including Billboard.

Gayla Earlene and her Pure Country Band won the "Band of the Year" award for four years consecutively from the ICGMA. She's won numerous awards for her talent as a singer, songwriter and entertainer and never fails to give God all the glory for all good things in her life. Gayla's sincerity, sensitivity and enthusiasm is evident in her music. In May 2012, she was given an Emmy Award nod for her voice participation in the video, "Hands of Hope", which combats domestic violence.

Gayla is  currently releasing radio singles on Canyon Creek Records, Tyler TX and would like to thank each and every radio DJ for their willingness to play her music, as well as the music of her colleagues. She says, " In these troubled times in our world, people NEED the LORD and HIS daily love and guidance more than ever" God is Good!
